My hubby and daughter love Korean food, so we randomly decided to eat here. It was VERY tasty and well worth the drive to Newark! Haha! We live in Fremont, but we are lazy! The kalbi was flavored well and cooked perfectly! dabooki was also full flavored and delicious. I love the banchan the most and this place was generous with their servings, they had a nice variety! They even refilled without us having to ask! The restaurant is not heavily decorated or updated, but I don't mind - clean, good food, and friendly service is a must and they had all 3! Happy Eating!

Came here for an early dinner and the restaurant was empty at 5 PM. Amazingly, even though they are a tofu house they had Mul Naengmyun. Perfect for a hot day! We had to ask for mustard, but they did have some. The panchan were delicious and plentiful. We also ordered vegetable pajun which was light and fluffy, but a little bit on the greasy side. The service was excellent.

Been coming here for a few years now - the food is always consistent and the staff is very nice! Their banchan selection is pretty decent. I especially like the gochujang braised potatoes which I don't see that often. Main dish wise they have a pretty standard selection of stews, barbecue, and Ramyun. While there's nothing standout the food is always consistently good in a pretty homely ambiance and I find that to be the charm! The complex also has a couple good boba & dessert options nearby and is open pretty late.

I would give this place 3.5 stars. Service is great, the staff were very friendly and came to refill our banchan. They have a pretty solid set of banchan items, with about 7 different dishes. We got the hot stone plate and tofu soup combo which was pretty good. I love the burnt rice at the bottom of the hot stone. You get a bowl of rice with your tofu soup, but it's just white rice and not the regular purple Korean rice. We also got the seafood pancake and Korean fried chicken. The fried chicken was way too salty. Plus, they used parts of the chicken that has bones, so I wasn't the biggest fan of this dish.

Happy New Year! My first review of 2024. I love me some Korean food, but it seems like we always get the standard Beef Bulgogi, Beef with Green Onion Pancake, and Kalbi. What can I say? I'm basic. That being said, the basics at Seoul Tofu House are amazing. The portions and price are reasonable. The Koreans mamas that work here are so nice and they hustle! I love the banchan they give you, and you should never be shy to ask for more! I especially love the Japchae and seaweed salad, which are my favorites.

Solid, no-frills Korean restaurant with friendly service, and great food + portions at a fair price. Stopped by here for dinner before a movie last night with my girlfriend. The restaurant itself is quaint, with plenty of tables. When we arrived (around 7 PM on a Wednesday) there were a few other groups there but the restaurant still had plenty of room. We were promptly seated and asked for our order. My girlfriend and I shared the Tofu Soup with Vegetables, the Stir Fried Rice Cakes and Ramen, and a Veggie and Scallion pancake. Our BanChan and main dishes came out very quickly and everything was extra fresh and tasted delicious. The pancake was my favorite dish of the night (I'm a sucker for Pajeon normally). The ramen and rice cakes were texturally perfect - the ramen was cooked so the noodles had a slight bite still and the rice cakes were QQ. The sauce that they were stir-fried in was perfect as well. And last but certainly not least was the tofu stew. We had asked to get the dish extra spicy - though it did have a kick it didn't knock our socks off. With that said, it was very delicious and perfect for the night as it started to get colder. All in all, I was very thoroughly satisfied with my meal at Seoul Tofu House. The friendly service and solid food are more than enough for me to recommend this place to anyone. The K Drama playing in the background was also an entertaining touch :) 5/5

I've been to Seoul Tofu House a few times in the past, last Wed went here for dinner. It was open around 4:30pm so that's a big plus when so many places don't open until 5pm. Got combo tofu soup w/ spicy pork $29.99, I got it veggie which is mushroom tofu soup, got it medium. No egg cuz of egg prices, so bummed! Spicy pork was little burnt and super temp hot, we liked it still. Hubby got seafood tofu soup, asked for spicy. He liked it. Got Free refills on banchans we liked. Charged it. Separate bathrooms on the left-side back. Support local restaurants.
